There are few places more challenging, beautiful and rewarding to swim,bike and run than Lake Placid, NY.
Our Lake Placid Training Camp is for all athletes who want to experience this awesome "triathlete's play ground"!
The weekend will involve supported training on the legendary IMLP course, informational clinics and free sponsor goodies!
Each workout will have distance options for the Iron Athlete, the 70.3-er and the Weekend Warrior.

SCHEDULE:
Thursday: Check in
- Plan to arrive by Thursday evening so you are rested and prepared for the weekend. We will touch base once you arrive and answer any questions.
When you're settled join Olivia and Nicole for a casual dinner at around 6pm, followed by a walk through of the Transition area, swim run out and in-town parts of the course.
Friday: Bike Day!
- 8am: Trek Portsmouth Bike. A fully supported training ride through the gorgeous Adirondacks. Choose from 112miles (full IMLP course), 56 miles (1 loop) or 44 miles (1 loop abridged). Coaches Olivia and Nicole will be on course with water, nutrition, bike tech equipment and to give pace guidelines and advice.
- 6pm: Group casual dinner and Course Review and Iron tips from a special guest.
Saturday: Swim & Run Day!
- 9am: TYR sponsored swim workout. TYR Cat 3 and Cat 5 Hurricane wetsuits will be available for demo. Kayaks will be in the water for support and to mark the course. Distances can be altered to fit all swimmers.
-10am: Bagels, coffee and clinic: Secrets to Conquering the Ironman Swim.
Nicole and Olivia (along with a special guest) will share techniques to the challenging IM mass start swim, including both race day and training tips. This will be a relaxed, optional clinic - and we'll provide the bagels :)
-2pm: Generation UCAN Run. We're hitting the hills of LP - Iron Athletes - 13.1 miles, 70.3ers - 10k (yup - both hills), Weekend warriors can choose either the hills or an easy flat loop around Mirror Lake. UCAN, water and gels will be available on course.
-6pm: Casual dinner and informal race day nutrition talk
Sunday: The Innaugural Balance LP Challenge
-9am: The Challenge will be a Bike-Run Brick race - staggered start, crazy course and fun competition! The winners will receive prizes and the honor of being the Original Champions!
-11am: Farewell... Coaches Olivia and Nicole will be available from 11am - 1pm for individualized race chat - pace guidelines, taper plans and tips on how to make your race-day awesome!

Get ready for the winter tri season with this jam packed, all-inclusive clinic designed to prepare you for all of the disciplines plus transitions in a winter triathlon. This is a great tune-up event for anyone who is racing winter tri or wants to get a feel for it.
