"I'm a late to the game athlete, a pre-Title Niner whose athletic career included one year of intra mural field hockey and walking. In short, an unlikely candidate to be toeing the start line at an Olympic Distance Triathlon, let alone train and participate in one 3,000 miles from home and friends. That I got to the start line feeling like I could not only race, but stand a decent chance of meeting my goals was due, in large part, to Nicole's coaching.
I was especially challenged in biking, and Nicole started me (and a group of similarly challenged friends) off with the basics, seriously basic as in how to ride safely, shift, monitor cadence, and get that darn Garmin to work. When I graduated from the basics and moved on to preparing for the race, she gave me workouts that challenged me, on occasion exhausted me, and ultimately resulted in my making a big leap in both my comfort on the bike and my times, all done remotely. I really appreciated her support, her ability to challenge me but not overwhelm me in the early stages of training, her attention to the details of my race, and her flexibility.
If the measure of a great coach is that they can coach at all levels, then Nicole ranks up there in my book.

"Olivia is the type of person who excels at triathlon while also leading an active, busy life. She helped me to do the same. With her coaching, I was able to reach my half ironman triathlon goals, while also keeping up with my family, job, and other interests. She helped me push myself, but not over-do it, particularly since I was suffering from a shin injury. She understood what it would take to get me there, and she tailored it to my unique strengths and weaknesses. I would recommend her coaching in a heartbeat."
