At Balance Multisport our coaches are a team of athletes and fitness professionals who are dedicated to helping guide you through your own personal goals of both fitness and performance.
Olivia Lord
Multisport coaching
As the founder of Balance Multisport Olivia is the guiding force behind the company. A native New Zealander, Olivia emmigrated to America after meeting and marrying her husband Matt in 1999. Her love of the outdoors and for skiing in particular is what led her into the sport of triathlon and into a life of fitness in general.
Olivia is a mother, a partner, and an athlete. She can often be found competing near the top in many triathlons around New England. Olivia is a two time Ironman and has coached multiple IM finishers and Kona qualifiers. She is dedicated to her own fitness and to helping others achieve their own dreams in the sport that has given her so much pleasure. Olivia is a USA Triathlon certified coach and a USA Cycling certified coach. She also holds certifications from NZSIA and PSIA as a ski coach, and a BA from Auckland University, New Zealand.

Nicole Pisani
Multisport Coaching
Nicole Pisani is an accomplished seasoned athlete who brings nine years of multisport experience to her role as a coach with Balance Multisport.
Prior to becoming a multisport & fitness coach, Nicole earned her BS in Health Science from Keene State University and worked in various adventure-based retail positions. She has worked as a spinning instructor since 2000 and volunteered with Maine Handicapped Skiing at Sunday River over the past four winter seasons.
Nicole coaches athletes of all abilities and focuses on beginning competitors looking to take their training to the next level. She holds a Level III USA Cycling certification and Level 1 New England Nordic Ski Association certification and is currently working towards her USA Triathlon Coaching certification. Nicole’s coaching style is strongly influenced by some of the best coaches in the community. In addition to helping athletes balance training with work and family responsibilities, she places emphasis on nutrition and functional training.
In addition to coaching athletes, Nicole is Director of Event Operations for Tri-Maine, a sports production company based in Portland, Maine. Since joining the company in 2007 Nicole has been influential in the successful execution of many of Maine’s premiere events. On race day, she can often be found with radio in hand, as she has a talent for orchestrating complex race day communications and ensuring athlete safety.
Race day is something Nicole always looks forward to and she hopes to see you at the start line.

Cheryl is a licensed Physical Therapist with a passion for proper bike fit due to its relation to the human body's posture, structural alignment, and biomechanics. She is an experienced cyclist and she even did her first triathlon last summer!
